Vera Wang is supporting the troops this fall by partnering up with Brides Across America.
The luxury fashion designer has joined forces with the non-profit organization, which gifts bridal attire for US troops, to run a contest offering 10 military and first-responder couples a dream wedding package.
The lucky couples will win a complete VIP bridal experience that includes fittings for a Vera Wang Bride wedding gown, a Black by Vera Wang tuxedo for the groom, and bridal party outfits from David's Bridal and Men's Wearhouse. The fittings will take place by private appointment at the Vera Wang headquarters in New York City in October, with the designer taking charge of one selected couple herself. Wedding bands from Zales Jewelers will also be included in the deal, as will invitations from Crane, dinnerware from Wedgwood, and a host of other services and goods.
"To those that give so much, it is a privilege to help make their dreams come true," Wang, who celebrates the 30th anniversary of her eponymous luxury brand this year, said in a statement.
"Brides Across America is honored to partner with Vera Wang on a special event coming this October," added Heidi Janson, CEO of Brides Across America Inc. "Together we will provide gratitude and support for our military and first responders for their selfless acts each and every day. We are proud to celebrate our heroes during a special time in their lives."
