Represent's latest music themed collab is a biggie as it links with Oasis

Represent is known for its rock music collabs and its latest is one that links with one of the biggest music comebacks of the decade as the Oasis reunion continues to grab headlines.

It was first teased on social media in August on the day of the reunion announcement with the collaboration finally available to purchase from this week.

To celebrate 30 years of Definitely Maybe, the Represent x Oasis collab “pays homage to one of the album’s biggest tracks, Live Forever” via a 10-piece capsule. 

The collection features Represent’s signature Owners Club artwork merged with the Oasis logo, as well as Definitely Maybe pieces featuring photography of Liam and Noel Gallagher, shot by Kevin Cummins in the 1990s. 

Interestingly, the collaboration also sees the brand tap into homewares, which may not seem very rock ’n’ roll, but with ashtrays included in the offer, it’s clearly not a sign of either Oasis or Represent getting too cosily domestic. Also included are co-branded mugs and rugs with prices ranging from £65 to £600.

Michael Heaton, creative director and founder of Represent, said: “For us, this collection has been years in the making, it’s been our ultimate collaboration. Since the inception of Represent, the band has been a point of massive inspiration; the parallel of also being two brothers from Manchester felt close to home. This collection was an opportunity for us to highlight an iconic time in Oasis’ career and marry that up with something that is iconic to us — Owners Club.”

The collection is available on the brand’s webstore and follows Represent linking up with Metallica earlier this year with a campaign fronted by TikTok star Huddy. The British luxury streetwear label said at the time that it “marks a full circle moment” for the brand with its “iconic oversized T-shirt construction being inspired by a 30 year-old vintage Metallica T-shirt discovered by Mike Heaton over seven years ago”.
