Red Run opens at Liverpool One, links with Asics for sneaker edit

Red Run has opened its previously flagged flagship store at the Grosvenor operated Liverpool One mall. And as an additional consumer magnet, the women’s active streetwear brand has linked up with sportswear giant Asics on an exclusive collaboration.

We’re told the opening “is an important milestone in the growth of the popular fashion-forward brand” while representing Liverpool One’s “dedication to supporting the development of local, independent businesses”.

Designed in-house by co-founder and creative director Megan Kimmance, the flagship store reflects Red Run’s use of “sustainable, carefully-sourced materials and a contemporary industrial aesthetic”. The 1,400 sq ft store on the mall’s Manesty’s Lane showcases Red Run’s “curated active streetwear collections” including its “most in demand collection to date”, its AW23 Parisian Night offer.

To complement Red Run’s direct-to-consumer products, the brand has partnered with Asics to retail a select range of sneakers specifically selected by Kimmance “to be styled with its fashion forward, versatile collections to offer customers a full provision of style from head to toe”. 

In addition, Red Run will be releasing a limited quantity of exclusive designs on a regular basis – the first being a printed long-sleeved skater tee from the best-selling Iinky collection, available from 28 October in-store only.

The flagship will also host exclusive in-store VIP events and collaborations.

Kimmance said: “[Our] flagship will allow our existing consumers as well as new, to fully experience the quality and intricacy of Red Run and heighten our direct-to-consumer shopping experience via an immersive and inspiring space. Our… store is the start of a new chapter for Red Run.”
