Phoebe Philo unveils first drop of Second Edit

Phoebe Philo’s own-label collection was a long time coming and after the First Edit appeared at the end of October 2023, now the Second Edit’s first drop has been revealed.

The first delivery is now available on phoebephilo.com and will be followed up with three further deliveries over March, April and May.

The Second Edit comprises 60 new styles across all categories that will be available alongside select pieces from the strong-selling first edit.

So what’s on offer now? As expected, it’s the minimalism-with-a-twist that we saw with the label’s global debut last year. 

Regarding simplicity, the ultra-affluent can buy items such as a charcoal grey crew-neck sweater at £990, an upright collar white shirt at £800, or a roomy pinstripe single-breasted jacket in khaki at £2,300.

But there are also high-heeled mules smothered in long leather fringing at £1,400 a quilted Drive bag at £4,200, a giant padded ‘pillow scarf’ at £1,400 and more equally-high-profile pieces.

Philo’s company said the current and next delivery “are the most significant in terms of volume” and will see a marketing campaign with German actor Sandra Hüller — who’s been nominated for the 2024 Academy Awards for Best Actress in a Leading Role for her performance in Anatomy of a Fall — in the cast.

Shipping is currently available to the UK, Europe and the US with the Third Edit set to arrive this autumn.
